Sify Technologies – 220kV Underground & Overhead Monopole Transmission Line Project

PSH  successfully completed the first-ever 220kV private transmission line project for Sify Technologies, marking them as the first private customer to construct a 220kV line outside of UPPTCL. This landmark project involved the design, installation, and commissioning of a 220kV transmission line, comprising 10 km of overhead monopole line and 2 km of underground cable, delivering a total load of 100 MW.

Scope of Work: Design and Engineering: Comprehensive design and technical planning of the transmission line, featuring both overhead monopole structures and underground cabling to suit the project’s unique requirements.

Overhead Monopole Line: Erection of 10 km of overhead monopole structures, ensuring efficient power transmission over challenging terrains. Underground Cable Installation: Installation of 2 km of 220kV underground cables, expertly laid to minimize disruption in dense urban areas.

Civil Works and Coordination: Management of all civil works, along with coordination with local and state authorities to ensure timely project completion.

Load Capacity: The project supports a 100 MW load, powering Sify Technologies’ critical data center infrastructure.

Completed within one year, this project is a testament to PSH ability to execute complex, high-voltage transmission projects by combining overhead and underground solutions, all while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
